Breaking of a man: (i didnt like the suggestion my friend gave. The 'gay' man- sounded alittle demeaning.=) got to respect people's preferences.)
Before you think too deeply in what i'm about to write, it is with great concern that i inform you that this was based mainly from a guy friend's opinion and mine, no offence meant.
It's been morally established that there are certain taboos in society that we are unable to see or break through. Rape is one of them. Often, as seen in newspapers, articles, television - most of the victims but but of one sex. Women. How often do you see telecast on men? Apparently, my friend who's serving national service gave me the scoop on the low down of the debauchery and dark undertones of an organization, otherwise known as the army. Though, probably for the protection of the manly men, rather then an intention segregation against gay men, these gay men are often said to be singled out and placed into more "gentile" jobs like clerks or, well, washing the toilet. But in truth, how many men would admit they are gay? A simple analogy would be to question a bunch of suspects, baiting them with the idea of freedom or threatening them with death. How stupid do you think a murderer would be to admit straight out that he killed? Nevertheless, my focus wasnt to put down our fellow friends for their sexual preference, rather its on the fact that no men, at least most men would ever admit that they were raped. Its an ego thingy. You might have probably heard of this quirky army scenrio where the army instructor orders his recruit to bend down to pick up soap, for ...er...purposes which i would not elaborate further. but in anycase, this comical example shows the unrealistic attitude one adopts when seeing this idea of manly man actually being under the threat of being raped. my friend tells me tales of really really weird things that we would probably never imagine would happen unless you have first hand information. The truth be it that i would rather it remain a myth coz it would be seriously weird if men started coming out and proclaiming to the media that they had, in effect, become less of the manly ns men we believe they were. that would probably be disasterous especially to many women.
in anycase, if your still reading this, it might be entertaining for me to tell you that all that i have written above should not be taken seriously its more of the pt of bullshitting, hot air and of coz as a means of entertainment for myself and for you. besides its 7 am over here and i havent slept a wink. wat do u expect to read?
anyway, one sentence summarizes all my feelings. i'm glad i'm no man.
