20 March 2003

Looking out of the window, she saw people mauling and disfiguring the lop-sided and half sunken monument of the state library.
The many different colours of chalk they used to convey their message, made the now "vandalised" state property seem almost creatively "beautiful" in an abstract way...
"Anti-War" songs were played over and over again. The war in Iraq had started way before the 12 o'clock dateline.

Shivering from both the thought of a possible WW3 and from the cold drafts of the howling wind, empathy was all she could feel at the moment.
Empathy and a sense of discomfort. " What would happen if the war spread?", she thought aloud. The woman next to her, turned and stared.
Quietly, she stood and walked awkwardly to the front of the tram door. The blasting music blarring loudly in her ear washed over her momentarily.
